Little Lake is governed by a five-member elected Board of Education. Board members, who are local residents, serve four-year terms. The Board establishes policies and procedures, ensures the fiscal solvency of the District, and renders decisions regarding student expulsions and suspensions.
The Board meets the second and fourth Tuesday of each month at 6 p.m. at the District Office in the Board room located at 10515 S. Pioneer Blvd., Santa Fe Springs. The Board meeting agendas are posted at the District Office, as well as at each school site.
If you wish to address the Board about a matter noted in the agenda, inquiry cards are available at each Board meeting. Your request to speak must be submitted prior to the beginning of the meeting. Members of the public may speak for up to three minutes on a topic that falls on the agenda. Moreover, at the close of each Board meeting, the public is invited to comment about other matters not noted on the agenda.
