Dear Little Lake Community,

The holiday season is upon us, bringing a wonderful opportunity for gratitude and cheer. Our Little Lake students, staff, and families have had an incredible year.

We are proud to share that our Family Resource Center received a Golden Bell Award. Additionally, our students outperformed the state and county test averages, and our Dual Immersion Program has made a tremendously positive impact on both students and their families. Furthermore, five of our school sites host the Domestic Harmonizer Program, supported by Academy Award Winner Forest Whitaker’s foundation, the Whitaker Peace and Development Initiative. We have much to celebrate.

None of this would be possible without the support of our community members and leaders, as well as our dedicated staff. I sincerely appreciate everything each member of the Little Lake staff does to create and maintain a safe and educational environment where all students can thrive. Our district’s recent achievements are a true reflection of their hard work.

I would also like to invite you to join us on December 17 as we swear in our newly elected and reelected board members. This is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the accomplishments of our district’s leaders and welcome the new year as they reorganize. More details can be found in the newsletter as you read on.

Wishing each of you a safe and happy holiday season and a prosperous new year!

Sincerely,

Jonathan Vasquez

Superintendent
